Liam Ridgewell Ridgewell is a young defender who earned a squad number at Aston Villa for
the 2002/03 season.
The London-born player was a member of the Villa side that won the FA Youth
Cup against Everton in May 2002. He had been snapped up from West Ham United in February 2001 after coming
through their youth system. Scored for the England Under-19 side in a 2-2 draw with Yugoslavia in October
2002, and the following day he moved to AFC Bournemouth on loan. |
