Bournemouth extended defender Lewis Buxton's loan from Portsmouth
for the rest of the 2004 season at the end of December 2003.
The 20-year-old and Pompey boss Harry Redknapp agreed the move, which
had to be completed by 31 December in accordance with Football League rules.
The loan was funded by the Cherries' fan-led Playershare scheme. Boss
Sean O'Driscoll said: "Once again, we are very grateful to Playershare".
Lewis is a seful addition to the side and became a favourite with the fans very
quickly.
Buxton, who hails from the Isle of Wight, had a successful three-month spell
on loan at Dean Court last season in 2002/3.
